We have offered Uptime Service Programs to our customers for over 20 years. Some of you have participated in this program from the beginning, and undoubtedly have seen first hand the rewards of preventive maintenance. By hiring our factory trained technicians to inspect and service your farm equipment now, you save time and money during the harvest season, when you need it most. Preventive maintenance extends the life of your equipment and prevents costly repairs by fixing small problems before they become big problems. |
Downtime in season costs you money. Not only do you pay regular repair rates and lose valuable time, you may also pay extra for freight and emergency service. The uptime program is designed to catch as many problems off-season as possible and to give discount rates to make the repair. |

Plan A: Inspection Program
Plan B: Inspection and Service Program.
Plan A Uptime Inspection Program
One of our factory trained combine specialists will come to your farm to inspect your Axial-Flow combine. While at your farm, the technician checks over your combine very thoroughly from top to bottom and front to back, making a checklist of the condition of the combine and what components are in need of repair for next season. Using a flow-rater and/or gauges, he will check your hydraulic and hydrostatic systems. He will also grease the combine to make sure that all lubrication points are taking grease. While at your farm and with your permission, the technician will often make some repairs or remove components to bring back to the shop for repair, which saves you travel time and mileage charges.
Plan B Inspection and Service Program
The Plan B process is the same, except we send two technicians to your farm instead of one. The first technician performs the inspection just like the Plan A, while the second technician changes all of the oils and filters on the combine. When the technician is finished with inspecting your combine, he then returns to our shop and makes an estimate of the time and parts needed to complete all of the repairs on the checklist. A copy of the checklist is then sent to you to evaluate. You can then have our technicians make the repairs you select, or repair the combine yourself. If you live more than three hours away from our dealership and would like to schedule an Uptime Service Inspection, please give us a call. We may be able to fly to your location using Hoobers own Cessna 206 airplane for less money than driving. Flying also allows us to provide you with very fast service and/or parts when you need them.
